Who We Are

At Chesterfield Radio we create entertaining media and provide training to pupils, students and vulnerable young adults whilst offering opportunities to members of the community that wish to get involved. We work with charities and community groups to offer them a voice to reach the public that has been missing from local radio for many years. We do this by inviting them in to discuss their projects to inform the listeners of these groups. We also share as much content on our social media as possible to further spread those messages. We create advertising and sponsorship opportunities for local businesses to reach an audience they otherwise couldn’t afford. We do this in an informative and entertaining way in order to engage with the audience. Chesterfield Radio is a leading player in the Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire region that works with local charity and community groups and businesses offering ourselves as hosts to event they hold as a one off or annually. We also offer the use of our full PA system along with stage lighting to give their events more presence. Our listeners share our passion for music and entertainment which is illustrated through our reach and engagement on social media. Going forward we aim to work with local artists to give them a platform to share their works with the communities they come from and live in. Chesterfield Radio’s mission is to create multiple platforms for women, men and their families with a purpose and a passion- to celebrate life, to inspire and entertain, empowering our listeners to live their best lives, and by doing so, lift the lives of those around them in ever-widening circles”
